Checking your Iqama in Saudi Arabia

Your Iqama (residence permit) is the most important document you hold as an expatriate in Saudi Arabia. Keeping track of its expiry date helps you avoid fines, travel issues and problems with your sponsor. The government provides several free online services to check your Iqama validity, including Absher, the Ministry of Interior portal, the labor ministry platform and Muqeem.

This site brings together clear, up-to-date guides for each method, including how to check your Iqama without an Absher account, using your passport number, or from outside Saudi Arabia. When it is time to renew, our renewal fees guide explains the costs involved.
